Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized nursing care and coordinate resident care using the Nursing Process. The role includes collaboration with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team, with potential to serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff.

Licensed nursing practice must meet state requirements. Work is in the Brainerd Bethany facility with evening shifts, 16 hours per week, and additional weekend incentives

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process across resident care settings.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teammates to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and uphold standards of practice.
