Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. The role collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The RN will coordinate care across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, may serve as charge nurse, and must work within state nurse practice acts and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor's in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Deliver care according to nursing standards and the scope of practice in the applicable state.
• Coordinate resident care, assessments, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Provide support to ensure safe, reliable resident care and address care concerns.
