Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care to residents using the full nursing process.

Responsibilities include collaborating with residents, families and a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care, coordinating assessments and resident education. The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks according to licensure and patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
