Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time evening shift in Brainerd, MN. The RN will deliver individualized nursing care, collaborate with residents and families, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, with potential charge nurse duties and delegation within scope. A valid RN license and a BG/background check are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice is occurring; multistate licensure acceptable if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate resident assessment, planning and education with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff within their scope and competence.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care following State practice acts and organizational standards.
