Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time evening shifts (2pm-10:30pm, 16 hours/week). The role includes nursing process application, resident assessment, and coordination of care with families and the care team.

You will participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating care, delegate tasks as needed, and uphold professional standards in a Christian not-for-profit environment with a strong emphasis on quality care and staff well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborate with resident, family and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, assessment and education; supervise delegated tasks as appropriate.
• Ensure safe and compliant nursing practice within state rules and professional standards.
