Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team in Des Moines, IA. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality outcomes for older adults.

We offer a favorable staff-to-resident ratio, shift flexibility with Day and Evening options, a $5,000 bonus for the evening shift, and benefits for full-time staff including PSLF eligibility in Iowa.

Qualifications

• Must have Iowa RN license or RN licensure within compact states.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Stable work history.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and takes follow-up action as necessary.
• Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Monitors residents and reports any change in their condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Monitors CNA staff performance.
• Uses strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.
