Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to join our skilled nursing team on the 3rd shift. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, competitive wages, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will supervise the activities of the clinical staff on your unit, ensure infection control practices, and help maintain staffing levels to deliver high-quality resident care. Iowa RN license or compact state is required.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in Iowa or compact state.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and provide education.
• Commitment to infection prevention practices.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident's needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
