About the Role

As an Evening Shift Registered Nurse (RN) at Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to our residents in a long-term care setting. Your duties will include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families on disease management and prevention. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive care that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families on disease management and prevention
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to develop and update care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, medication lists, and treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that residents' needs are met and that patients and families are informed of their condition and treatment options
• Remain current with industry developments and best practices in nursing, and participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
