We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Full Time Charge Nurse 7am-3pm to join our team at Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, located in Richland Hills, Texas. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, while also leading and mentoring our dedicated team of nursing professionals.

About the Role

• As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for managing the daily nursing care of our patients, including developing and implementing individualized care plans, conducting patient assessments, and ordering medications and treatments.
• You will work closely with our rehabilitation team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
• You will also provide guidance and mentorship to our nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and direction to the nursing staff during the 7am-3pm shift.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Conduct patient assessments, order medications and treatments, and administer medications as ordered.
• Work closely with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement rehabilitation plans.
• Monitor and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other company-wide initiatives.
