Job summary

Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Richland Hills, Texas is seeking an Evening Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a long-term care setting.

You will assess needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families on disease management and prevention, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas.
• BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills in geriatric care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting; assess needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive physical, emotional, and social resident care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including progress notes, medication lists, and treatment plans.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure needs are met and inform about condition and treatment options.
• Stay current with nursing industry developments and participate in ongoing education to enhance skills.
