Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift in Detroit, MI. You will lead daily manufacturing operations, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and manage Team Leaders and team members to meet production metrics.

Strong focus on KPI visibility, shift handoffs, and staff coordination is essential. Qualified candidates will have experience leading manufacturing teams, knowledge of KPIs/OEE, and proficiency with reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
• Working knowledge of production KPIs, OEE, staffing management, quality systems, and safety programs.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency with manufacturing reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours and support operational requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations on 2nd Shift with a focus on safety, quality and productivity.
• Maintain KPI boards and ensure accurate shift handoffs and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen and problem-solving.
• Monitor production flow, schedule adherence, and OEE targets.
• Manage staffing levels and coordinate resources to meet production demands.
• Support containment, corrective actions, and root-cause investigations.
