Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an Evening Shift Unit Manager to lead a production team and drive PPS-based improvements. You will oversee safety, quality, and delivery targets, and coordinate resources across shifts to sustain schedules.

This role requires strong leadership and hands-on problem solving in a manufacturing setting. Qualified candidates have a technical or business degree, 1–3+ years in operations, and experience with Lean principles and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Lean manufacturing knowledge valued.
• Experience in manufacturing/operations environment recommended.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements using PPS and Lean methods.
• Coach team on process standardization and continuous improvement.
• Manage time and attendance for hourly staff and enforce policies.
• Support training and development of team members and supervisors.
