Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, part of PACCAR, seeks an Operations Leader to drive production improvements at our Denton, Texas facility. You will lead the team, champion PACCAR Production System (PPS), and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while developing a high-performance, engaged workforce.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, 1–3+ years in manufacturing, lean knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field preferred.
• 1-3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive PACCAR Production System (PPS) to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment.
• Manage production and maintenance to meet plant goals and line performance.
• Lead teams to improve systems, processes and procedures.
• Coach in accountability, feedback, root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Ensure accurate time and attendance tracking for hourly employees.
• Provide training to new hires and track performance metrics.
• Lead Focused Improvement Teams to enhance key metrics.
