Job summary

PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, Mississippi, is seeking a Site Operations Manager to lead evening shift operations, drive safety, quality, and delivery performance, and advance PACCAR Production System initiatives. You will manage front-line leaders, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with plant goals.

The role requires strong manufacturing experience, lean leadership, and a proven ability to implement continuous improvements while maintaining a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations or related field is required.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coaching and developing employees at all levels.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement and lean leadership.
• Ability to drive change and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Direct Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Materials to meet customer demand safely.
• Develop and manage front-line managers across departments to meet plant goals.
• Coach and mentor team members for personal and professional development.
• Support training, motivation, and safety of High-Performance Work Teams.
• Oversee allocation of work and ensure productivity, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Lead Six Sigma projects and PACCARProduction System initiatives.
• Assist in budget development and cost-reduction projects.
• Ensure quality programs compliance (ISO/IATF) and continuous improvement.
• Prepare analyses and reports for management.
