PACCAR is seeking an Evening Shift Unit Manager to lead a production team and drive PPS-based improvements. You will oversee safety, quality, and delivery targets, and coordinate resources across shifts to sustain schedules.
This role requires strong leadership and hands-on problem solving in a manufacturing setting. Qualified candidates have a technical or business degree, 1–3+ years in operations, and experience with Lean principles and MS Office.

Leads team members to identify, manage, and execute the plants process improvement opportunities. Manages production employees to attain production and quality goals. Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues. Ensures production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. Drives continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale and environment. Responsible for managing and owning department functions of the business and creating an engaged, team-oriented work force in order to improve business results.
Acts as a primary resource to production team to help drive PACCAR Production System (PPS) and meet goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business related field highly preferred
