Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, part of PACCAR Inc, seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for its Denton, Texas facility. You will provide manufacturing engineering support for chassis and powertrain systems, improving production efficiency, process capability, and cost effectiveness under general supervision.

Responsibilities include DFMA collaboration, process development, and ensuring readiness for prototype through production builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering support for chassis and powertrain systems across product development and launches.
• Partner with Design Engineering to provide DFMA input, participate in design reviews, and support DFMEA/PFMEA activities.
• Develop, validate, and implement manufacturing processes for chassis and powertrain systems.
• Coordinate activities with suppliers, engineering teams, and production plants to drive readiness and successful production builds.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
