Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Safety Supervisor for the evening shift in Denton, TX. The role supports the Safety Manager by implementing safety and health programs across Peterbilt and PacLease divisions, ensuring DOT compliance and incident prevention.

The position involves coordinating inspections, training, and safety initiatives while leading a team and aligning with corporate expectations. Mon–Fri schedule with an 8% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work Mon-Fri, 4:00PM - 1:00AM.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to promote a behavioral based safety culture in operations and offices.
• Manage an environmental, health, and safety program including incident prevention, investigation, and cost tracking.
• Lead the safety team’s performance and development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and reporting requirements.
• Develop loss control goals and procedures for EHS activities.
• Partner with operations to identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage safety training programs for both operations and office staff.
• Coordinate with OSHA inspectors, fire department, PACCAR insurance, and facilities departments.
