Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Louisville, KY is seeking team members to safely operate equipment moving packages and pallets, assist in buildup/breakdown of heavyweight freight, and coordinate with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

This part-time evening or early-morning role requires physical exertion, ability to pass drug/criminal checks, a valid driver's license, and the capacity to work in all weather and noisy environments.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level without assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend, squat and maneuver packages in various spaces.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders as required.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
