Job description

A Shift Lead is someone who is in charge of managing one of our working shifts. Shift leads are responsible for completing the duties outlined in the "Baker" job description (shown below). Additionally, their duties revolve around direct reports to the general manager. A direct report provides and demonstrates task instructions, manages attendance, and measures key performance indicators.

You should keep records and produce reports that will help to review the team’s performance. Exceptional communication skills and a passion for excellence are necessary for success in this role. Previous leadership experience is a plus.

Must be willing to work until 10:30pm during the week and 12:30am on Friday and Saturday.

Baker Job Description

We search for skilled, creative bakers who strive to provide high-quality baked goods and services in an efficient, professional manner. The Baker understands recipes, performs quality checks on ingredients and finished products, uses frostings, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance item presentation, and processes orders from customers.

As a baker, you will greet customers, answer questions, clean workstations and equipment, make sure the kitchen is stocked, and perform other duties as needed. To be a successful baker, you should be efficient, friendly, focused on food quality and customer satisfaction, decisive, attentive, and have a strong understanding of baking techniques.

Baker Responsibilities

• Read and understand Crumbl recipes
• Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make cookies
• Decorate and display the finished product
• Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
• Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, accept orders and payment, and provide exceptional customer service
• Keep records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
• Take client information and ensure that deliveries are accurate and timely
• Clean and restock the workstation and ensure all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift

Baker Requirements

• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
• Basic math and computer skills
• Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create excellent baked goods
• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend, and holiday availability
