Job summary

Elyria Foundry and Hodge Foundry seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department in a heavy industrial foundry environment. You will supervise both hourly and salaried staff, delegate repairs, and prioritize ongoing maintenance projects across multiple systems.

The role requires 7+ years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing or foundry settings and 3-5 years of leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing or foundry.
• Excellent coordination and attention to detail.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or foundry industries.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Effective leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of machines and tools and their maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance department operations including hourly and salary direct reports.
• Manage maintenance repair, delegate work and priorities.
• Oversee equipment management across furnaces, blasters, sand systems, mixers, conveyors, elevators and related items.
• Handle facilities maintenance including electrical, lighting, conduit and wiring.
• Monitor and manage CMMS (eMaint) system.
• Coordinate manpower planning and management.
