Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with related field experience or a Technical School Diploma.
- 3 years experience as a commercial electrician or Less than 1 year with Technical School Diploma.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provides maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components, including wiring and lighting.
- Performs inspections, testing and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoots hazards or malfunctions and repairs or replaces damaged parts.
- Maintains system integrity with label management and panel labeling.
- Responds to trouble calls and emergencies; documents work in CMMS.
- Maintains inventory and procures parts as needed.
