Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician for its Facilities Management team at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing patient care equipment and building systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The position performs preventive maintenance, responds to trouble calls, uses the CMMS system, and collaborates with trades. Evening shift, full-time onsite in Allentown, PA.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED with required years of experience.
• Technical School Diploma in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
• 3 years electro/mechanical repairs experience.
• Ability to read mechanical/electronic schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with electronics and systems.
• Proficiency in electro/mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to perform other trade skills (plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Driver's License PA.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoots and repairs beds, stretchers, patient lifts, blanket warmers, sterilizers, wheelchairs, and other rolling stock.
• Performs preventive maintenance as needed.
• Performs minor maintenance of plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment, systems, structures and other general maintenance.
• Responds to trouble calls, work requests and emergency situations.
• Assists department colleagues of all trades as needed.
• Utilizes the CMMS work order system and documents time and work completed, all in a timely manner.
• Maintains buildings through the continuous repair of windows, doors, roofs, floors, stairways, and assists with the maintenance of grounds.
