Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to administer and coordinate respiratory care across the life span, from neonates to geriatrics. You will document treatments, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and respond to critical situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, ABG interpretation, patient education, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Georgia.
• Associates Degree required.
• Successful completion of registry examination.
• Respiratory Therapy training through an accredited school.

Responsabilités

• Communicate clearly with nurses on patient care issues, ventilator changes, and ABG results.
• Document treatments, medications, vent flow sheets, and ABG logs in EMR.
• Manage ventilators and interpret CXR, labs, and progress notes to guide care.
• Provide therapy and education for patients; follow oxygen and aerosol protocols.
• Assist with floor and ICU patient care and support unit operations.
