Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure as Respiratory Therapist in Georgia.
• Associates Degree.
• Must have completed Respiratory Therapy training and registry exam.
• Preferred one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with nurses about patient care, ventilator changes and ABG results.
• Documents treatments, medications, vent flow sheets, and ABG logs in EMR.
• Manages care for critical care and floor patients with ventilators.
• Provides patient education and information on therapy.
• Contributes to department operations and priorities to ensure quality care.
