Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer and coordinate treatments for patients across the lifespan, including neonatal and geriatric care, and to document therapies in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Georgia.
• Associates Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
• One year of prior experience in a relevant position.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with nurses and physicians on patient care issues and ventilator changes.
• Document treatments, ABG results, and vent settings in EMR.
• Manage ventilator parameters for critical care patients.
• Provide patient education and ensure safe care plans.
• Contribute to bedside shift reports and high-quality care delivery.
• Participate in unit huddles and interdisciplinary teamwork.
