The nurse provides direct and indirect care to residents (adolescents to adults) within a correctional setting, performs assessments, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include leading nursing care, delegating tasks, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• License to practice in the State of New Jersey (RN).
• CPR Certification required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents across age groups.
• Perform assessments in intake, health care unit, emergencies, chronic care, and infirmary.
• Collaborate with health care professionals and security officers in a correctional setting.
• Identify resident-patient goals and implement interventions.
• Plan nursing care and make timely referrals per policy.
• Serve as team leader or charge nurse and delegate duties.
