Job summary

Holy Family Institute seeks a Journey of Hope Shift Coordinator to support the House Supervisor in supervising the UC-Unaccompanied Children shelter program, ensuring safe, trauma-informed care and compliant staffing during 2pm-10pm shifts.

You will mentor Youth Care Workers, plan daily activities, coordinate transportation, assist with intake and documentation, and respond to crises while maintaining a respectful, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of direct service delivery experience required.
• Supervision experience preferred.
• Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required and valid PA driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under stress.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns daily shift tasks for YCWs and monitors schedules for coverage.
• Plans and implements daily program activities for children in compliance with contracts.
• Coordinates transportation for admissions, discharges, and field trips.
• Assists with staff orientation and training of YCWs.
• Provides guidance to YCWs to implement effective solutions.
• Facilitates weekly house and community meetings.
• Adheres to safety and incident reporting guidelines and CPR/First Aid procedures.
• Maintains accurate case management and clinical documentation.
