Job summary

Holy Family Institute in Moon, PA is seeking a Shift Coordinator for the Afternoon and Overnight Shifts to support the Journey of Hope shelter program for UC-Unaccompanied Children. This full-time role (40 hours) requires a degree and 1-3 years of direct service, plus clearances and a PA driver's license; you will lead YCWs, plan activities, and coordinate transport.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of one year of experience working with children in a residential or human services setting.
Act 33/34 and FBI clearances and valid PA driver’s license.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience in residential setting or human services preferred.
1-3 years of direct service experience required.

Responsibilities

Assigns daily shift tasks for YCWs and monitors schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
Plans and implements daily program activities for the children in compliance with program contracts and cooperative agreements.
Coordinates with program departments to help facilitate transportation for admissions, discharges, off-campus appointments, and field trips.
Assists with staff orientation and training of YCWs.
Provides guidance and feedback to YCWs to achieve effective solutions.
