Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Manager for the Residential Respite program in New Britain, CT.

This 2nd-shift role runs Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:00pm and supports the Program Coordinator in directing program operations and ensuring compliant client care. Required: a Bachelor's in Behavioral Health, 1–3 years of supervisory experience, valid driver’s license, PMT, First Aid and CPR certifications, and the ability to obtain a public service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field preferred.
• 1–3 years of management/leadership experience with direct care providers.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a public service license.
• PMT training, First Aid, and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative supervision to all staff to ensure appropriate delivery of services on site and on-call.
• Assists in assessments of referrals for clinical appropriateness and risk.
• Participates in staff meetings weekly to ensure timely communication about client care and safety.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures program coverage and regulatory/compliance adherence.
• Conducts primary caseload responsibilities and related documentation.
• Represents CMHA in internal/external meetings concerning clinical care and compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
