Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency seeks a Lead Site Assistant for ARCHES shelters in Polk and Marion counties. You will lead the day-to-day operations during the graveyard shift, coordinate staff and volunteers, and support residents with resources while maintaining a safe environment and high-quality service.

The role emphasizes data integrity, trauma-informed engagement, and collaboration with program partners. Training and professional growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, social services, or similar roles.
• Experience with homelessness or public healthcare/community services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact on shift.
• Train and onboard staff and volunteers on duties, policies and procedures.
• Ensure data collection and accuracy in HMIS and Shelter point systems.
• Provide cleaning, laundry, and site upkeep to support daily shelter operations.
• Assist residents with resources and crisis-related needs while maintaining safety.
