Job summary

Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at the Buttes is seeking a Server Assistant to support the dining room during evening shifts, helping with table setup, service, and guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean, orderly station.

This role requires full scheduling flexibility, mostly PM shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training provided; benefits include health, dental and vision insurance and Marriott room discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs, and bending.
• Commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper table setup, bread and water delivery, and clearing dishes.
• Reset tables promptly for incoming guests during dinner service.
• Ensure waters are refilled regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, server stations, and side work areas.
• Stock server stations with necessary supplies including napkins, glasses, and cutlery.
• Support turnover between seating to maintain flow and guest satisfaction.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
