Job summary

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Senior Living Apartments in West Fargo, ND seeks a Culinary Cook for a part-time 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The cook prepares meals per recipes, ensures sanitation, and supports resident dining experiences with quality service. The ideal candidate has 18+ years old, 1–3 years of culinary experience preferred, and a High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• 1-3 years of previous culinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high quality meals according to standardized recipes and techniques.
• Uses and directs the use of accurate portion control standards.
• Ensures sanitary conditions are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
• Checks all menus daily to verify that all necessary items are prepared as needed.
• Stores leftovers properly according to food handling standards.
• Operates equipment in a correct, safe, sanitary and respectful manner.
• Supervises the dining experience to ensure resident satisfaction of meal service.
• Checks temperatures of food products and documents in temperature log.
• Cleans equipment and work area to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Inventories and orders food products; ensures adequate inventory on hand.
• Oversees catering events, ensuring quality, safety, and presentation of catered meals.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet serving times.
