Job summary

Diamond Willow Assisted Living & Memory Care in Mountain Iron, MN is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Resident Assistant. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor well-being, and help administer daily medications in a safe, respectful, home‑like setting that values dignity, comfort, and joy for our seniors.

You will build meaningful relationships with residents and families, collaborate with a dedicated care team, and support dining and homemaking tasks.

Qualifications

• Compassion and a genuine desire to care for seniors.
• Empathy, patience and effective communication with residents and families.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• No prior caregiving experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and assist with daily activities, supporting independence.
• Administer daily medications.
• Foster connections and build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes to the care team.
• Prepare and serve meals per dietary needs.
• Perform homemaking duties including cleaning of rooms and laundry.
