Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard on the Evening Shift Patrol Driver role in Elkton, MD. You will monitor manufacturing and industrial locations, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to site procedures.

A valid driver's license is required for driving posts and you must pass background and drug screening. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Background check and drug screen are required by policy.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors per site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Observe and report security concerns to leadership and site representatives.
