Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Elkton, MD. You will provide security services, perform routine unarmed patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to respond to incidents calmly. Shifts include day and night hours with training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
