Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Route Driver in Elkton, MD. You will patrol manufacturing and industrial locations, provide customer service, monitor access points, and respond to security incidents. A valid driver’s license is required, and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

The role is full-time with a consistent 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM schedule, five days a week, and offers benefits and growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; guard card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed per site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual conditions or policy violations to relevant personnel.
