Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Elkton, MD to safeguard healthcare facilities and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism and clear communication.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience and a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants may undergo a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
Conduct routine and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, support facility protocols, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with staff and responding agencies to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming environment.
