Job summary

Comstock is seeking a Full Time Security Officer for the Weds shift (3pm-9pm) and Thurs-Sat (10am-9pm) at Shirlington, VA. The role covers patrols, access control, and enforcing rules to ensure a safe, clean experience for residents, tenants and guests.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, DCJS certification or can obtain within 90 days, and have at least 1 year of customer-service experience. A valid driver’s license is required and flexibility to work after hours and weekends is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DCJS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly patrols of the property using the security system.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce safety rules and report issues; issue banning notices as needed.
• Assist the Marketing team for events at Reston and Reston Station.
