Job summary

Bowery Residents' Committee is seeking a part-time security-focused staff member to monitor entrances, log observations, and promptly respond to emergencies. The role requires a high standard of reading, writing and verbal communication, plus basic computer skills and CPR training willingness.

Shifts are limited to 15 hours per week, including Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The ideal candidate will support the safety of residents and guests while performing related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Good reading, writing and verbal skills.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building entrance and perform rounds to ensure security.
• Answer phones and document observations in logbook.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR when needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
