Bowery Residents' Committee (BRC) is seeking a part-time security staff member to monitor entrances, patrol facilities, and respond to emergencies at Clyde Burton House on the Lower East Side. The role requires CPR-certified candidates or willingness to obtain CPR training, plus basic computer literacy and strong reading, writing, and verbal skills.

Primary responsibilities include logging observations, answering phones, and performing related duties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• CPR training certification or willingness to take CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building entrance and patrol to ensure premises security.
• Answer phones and document observations in logbook.
• Respond to emergencies and provide emergency first aid/CPR as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
