Job summary

Cle Elum-Roslyn School District seeks a Facilities Worker to perform routine custodial duties across school facilities during the 2026-27 year. The swing shift runs from 2:20 pm to 11 pm and covers a 260-day schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, dusting and mopping, setting up spaces for events, and maintaining safety by following chemical handling procedures. Uniforms and professional conduct are expected.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs often.
• Experience in custodial duties/general maintenance.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and showers and fixtures.
• Dust and wipe furniture; sweep, mop or vacuum floors; empty wastebaskets and trash containers; replace light bulbs; refill tissue and restroom dispensers.
• Set up facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events.
• Wash windows, walls and equipment.
• Lock and unlock buildings; secure building when faculties are not in use.
• Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• May move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools.
• May deliver school district mail.
• May clean and paint surfaces.
• May remove snow or debris from sidewalks, entrances and driveways.
• Respond to damage caused by vandalism immediately.
• Organize and maintain storage areas and custodial closets.
• Remain at duty site for emergencies and to monitor security.
• Respond to security system alarms.
