Job summary

ServiceFM LLC in Nashville area is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain a clean school environment. The role covers floor care, cleaning duties, and event setup in the Green Hills area of Nashville.

Typical schedule is 30+ hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional additional hours for events. Compensation starts at $17 per hour, with full-time benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Background check required to work in a school environment.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service skills and a responsible work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Capability to precisely track and log work hours using a smartphone or computer.
• Ability to work in a smoke-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, wet and dry mopping, restroom, gym, classrooms, and/or cafeteria cleaning, trash removal, grounds debris removal, window and door cleaning, and more.
• Set up and clean up for events, which may involve moving furniture.
• Perform floor and carpet maintenance periodically (school breaks).
