Job summary

ServiceFM (SFM) is seeking a dependable Custodian to perform general cleaning and floor care at an educational facility in the Brentwood area. The role supports a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

Work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 4:00pm–9:00pm, with occasional events. Starting wage is $17.00 per hour, plus semiannual incentive bonuses and referral programs. Join a family-owned company that values respect and growth.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint-based criminal background check required for school employment.
• Ability to perform physical work, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, and pulling.
• Reliable and committed to excellent customer service.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic smartphone or computer skills to record work hours accurately.
• Ability to work in a smoke-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, doors, and other interior surfaces.
• Remove debris from building entrances and surrounding grounds.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, and furniture for school events.
• Perform periodic floor care and carpet maintenance during school breaks.
• Perform porter duties, including moving boxes, furniture, and supplies, and completing other assigned tasks as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures, cleaning standards, and quality expectations.
