Job summary

ServiceFM (SFM) seeks a dependable Custodian to perform general cleaning and floor care in a Brentwood educational facility. The role supports a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

The position offers 20+ hours per week, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and potential evening/weekend events throughout the year. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint-based background check required for school employment.
• Ability to perform physical work (walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service.

• Basic smartphone or computer skills to record work hours accurately.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, doors, and other interior surfaces.
• Remove debris from building entrances and surrounding grounds.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, and furniture for school events.
• Perform periodic floor care and carpet maintenance during school breaks.
• Perform porter duties, including moving boxes, furniture, and supplies, and completing other assigned tasks as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures, cleaning standards, and quality expectations.

Job Summary

Compensation:

• $18.00 per hour
