Job summary

Bellevue School District is seeking a part-time Custodian for Jing Mei Elementary for the 2026-27 year. The role covers custodial tasks during a swing shift, focusing on cleaning, safety, and event support.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with strong reading/writing skills.
• Two years of verifiable, paid commercial building custodial experience preferred.
• One year of public school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs floors, cleans and maintains equipment and fixtures.
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms and supplies.
• Cleans assigned offices/classrooms.
• Moves furniture for events and arranges seating.
• Disposes garbage and recyclables; shovels snow; keeps grounds clean.
• Performs minor maintenance like unclogging sinks and changing bulbs.
• Secures building and ensures alarm systems are set.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or head custodian.
