Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian to join our facilities team. You will ensure all school areas are clean, safe, and well maintained, covering interior spaces and exterior grounds as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of janitorial experience. You will follow OSHA safety procedures and stay on-site during shifts, with occasional travel to nearby schools as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; continuing education in facilities-related topics.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: interior hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room, and other areas as assigned.
• Exterior areas: perimeter of school building, parking lot, playground, windows, and other areas as assigned.
• Empty all trash receptacles and dispose of waste.
• Dust FF&E, window sills, air vents and other surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Remove waste in cafeteria during meals and assist with cafeteria table cleaning.
• Keep cafeteria floors clean and wipe high-use areas to reduce bacteria spread.
• Assist Head Custodian with projects and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Travel to nearby schools or storage facilities if required.
