Job summary

Grafton Public Schools seeks a Custodian for the second shift at Grafton High School in Massachusetts. The role runs from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, year-round as a full-time, 12-month position.

You will keep classrooms, bathrooms, and school facilities clean and safe, assist with moving furniture, and report repairs to appropriate staff. Experience is preferred; a high school diploma or trade school is preferred; citizenship or residency/work visa is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a safe, attractive, clean, and efficient place in which children may learn, play, and develop.
• Keep buildings and premises clean at all times.
• Sweep classrooms.
• Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, floors, sanitary fixtures.
• Reports needed repairs to appropriate personnel.
• Move furniture as required for various activities as directed by the Director of Operations and/or by school Principal.
• Hours modified over the summer.
• Other duties as requested.
