Job summary

Grafton Public Schools is hiring a Custodian (Second Shift Floater) at North Street Elementary School in Grafton, MA. The role runs 2:30pm-11:00pm, 12 months, with an hourly wage of $23 to $27.

Immediate starting date and full-time status support a stable, year-round position within the district. Responsibilities include keeping the facility clean and safe, sweeping classrooms, cleaning bathrooms, reporting repairs, and moving furniture as directed by administration.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which children may learn, play, and develop.
• Keep buildings and premises clean at all times.
• Sweep classrooms.
• Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, floors, sanitary fixtures.
• Reports needed repairs to appropriate personnel.
• Move furniture as required for various activities as directed by the Director of Operations and/or by school Principal.
• Hours modified over the summer.
• Other duties as requested.
