Job summary

Ponaganset High School in Glocester, RI is seeking a 2nd Shift Custodian (3 pm to 11 pm) to join the Foster-Glocester Regional Schools team as a long-term substitute. The role focuses on cleaning, safety and maintenance across the school facilities, supporting students and staff during after-hours operations.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, custodial experience, a valid driver’s license, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Custodial experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and common areas according to schedule.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and basic building systems.
• Assist with security checks and incident reporting after hours.
• Support set-up and break-down for events and activities.
• Maintain inventory and request supplies as needed.
