Job summary

CREST Collaborative in Andover, MA is seeking a Part-time Custodian for the 2nd shift to join our Facilities Department. The role covers cleaning, basic repairs, and setup tasks to keep classrooms and common areas safe, clean, and ready for learning.

The position offers a 25-hour work week with shifts after 3pm, Monday through Friday, and requires reliable attendance, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. prior school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant experience preferred, ideally in a school environment.
• Basic knowledge of the maintenance of the buildings and equipment as well as trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• High School diploma/Trade School degree preferred; basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial duties and minor repairs.
• Performs cleaning all aspects of a school building(s) and the appropriate operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Assists in sanitation control and checks for safety hazards.
• Performs classroom set up duties such as furniture moving, set up and take down.
• Performs basic maintenance skills such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, and cleaning.
• Maintains a safe working environment.
